The Finance Intern will assist with various clerical tasks related to preparation of annual agency budget, billing and payroll. File and pull documentation as needed. Assist with special projects as assigned by Sr. Manager of Contracts, Billing and Budgets & Sr. Payroll Manager

Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in accounting or finance program of licensed college or university, and working towards a college degree in finance, business management, or accounting.

Supervisory Role:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Principal Responsibilities:

The below enumerated principal responsibilities are inclusive of both program specific and firm-wide related administration, as applicable.

1. Assist with clerical tasks in development of materials for annual Budget Development Book
2. Assist with special projects and tasks, as assigned by Controllers, Sr. Payroll Manager and Sr. Manager of Contracts, Billing and Budgets
3. Assist with scanning payroll files into
4. Retrieve payroll registers, timesheets and payroll files

Expected Results of Principal Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance to the Sr. Manager of Contracts, Billing and Budgets upon new fiscal budget season
2. Timely response to requests from service sector business office staff
3. Timely and accurate scanning and filing of payroll files that can be easily retrieved and referenced to, if needed
4. Respond to internal and external requests timely for supporting payroll documentation

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee will be in an office environment performing administrative work.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to have visual acuity, talk and hear while communicating with peers and/or vendors. This position is sedentary and requires sitting for long period of times. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
