FUNCTION

The Maintenance Worker II is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the building
and grounds including minor repairs. Assists in managing the preventative maintenance program. May require lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds without assistance. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED with two years of maintenance experience. 

PRINCIPALRESPONSIBILITIES

1.   Upkeep of school building including classrooms, bathrooms office areas and hallways.

2.   Upkeep of the grounds and walkways surrounding the school.

3.   Performs minor repairs inside and outside of building.

4.   Monthly check of all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, etc.) to verify that they are in working order.

5.   Perform duties not regularly scheduled.
