The shift supervisor is responsible for overall operations of the program or facility during his/her assigned shift.  On evening, nights, holidays and weekend shifts, these duties may be expanded to include supervision of ancillary staff.


4:00 PM TO 12:00 AM
Tuesday to Saturday 
Days off: Sun/Mon


The position requires a college degree and one year relevant work experience or an associates degree or 60 college credits and three years relevant work experience.


1. Supervise personnel working the same shift.
2. Supervise safety and incident management system, including contracted security guards as applicable.
3. Supervise delivery of program services, including intake, bed assignments, collecting census information.
4. Supervise facility maintenance and cleaning staff on evening, night, holiday and weekend shifts as assigned.
5. Manage community relations and communicate with relevant authorities as needed. 
6. Perform related tasks as needed.


1. Shift staff are appropriately supervised.
2. Program facilities are safe and incident reporting is timely and accurate.
3. Clients receive accommodations and services in accordance with established procedures.
4. The facility is well maintained, clean and in good repair.
5. Contact with the local community is well managed.
6. Related tasks are performed completely, on time and accurately.
