The Operations Manager/Shift Supervisor is responsible for facilitating daily shelter operations.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree or 60 college credits with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 3 years of relevant experience. F-80 certification. Must possess good interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge.

 

Supervisory Role:

This position does have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

The below enumerated principal responsibilities are inclusive of both program specific and firm-wide related administration, as applicable.

  1. Supervise delivery of program services including intake, bed assignments, case management services, distribution of client mail, lockers, meal cards and medication

  2. Ensure optimal customer service is being provided to clients

  3. Ensure recreation activities are occurring

  4. Ensures the facility is adequately staffed at all times

  5. Work with DHS PD to ensure the daily security and safety of the facility

  6. Supervise facility maintenance, cleaning staff and fire safety

  7. Manage community relations and communicate with relevant authorities as needed

  8. Perform related tasks as needed
